2. App Overview

The AceGuardian Android app (org.aceguardian.app) is a companion interface for SIGINAT hardware nodes. It provides:

  • ✅ Real-time status monitoring of local SIGINAT nodes
  • ✅ Anomaly alert notifications (optional)
  • ✅ Configuration management for local hardware

3. Data Collection & Usage

Core Principle: SIGINAT is designed for sovereign, offline-first operation. No user data is sent to cloud servers by default.

3.1 Data We Do NOT Collect

  • ❌ No personal identifiers (name, email, phone) unless explicitly provided for support
  • ❌ No location data (GPS) unless you enable optional alert geofencing
  • ❌ No RF spectrum data leaves your device unless you configure emergency alerting
  • ❌ No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs

3.2 Data We MAY Collect (Optional & Explicit)

  • ✅ Device Information: Android version, app version, hardware model (for compatibility diagnostics)
  • ✅ Crash Reports: If you opt-in to error reporting (via Firebase Crashlytics or similar)
  • ✅ Support Communications: If you contact us via email or in-app form
  • ✅ Alert Preferences: If you enable anomaly notifications (stored locally)

4. How Data Is Used

  • ✅ To provide app functionality (monitoring, alerts, configuration)
  • ✅ To improve app stability (if crash reporting is enabled)
  • ✅ To respond to support requests
  • ✅ To comply with legal obligations (if required)

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Default Behavior: No data is shared with third parties.

Optional Integrations: If you explicitly configure emergency alerting or cloud backup, data may be transmitted to services you authorize (e.g., email, webhook, or your own server). We do not control or monitor these integrations.

6. Data Retention

  • ✅ Local app data: Stored on your device until you uninstall or clear app data
  • ✅ Crash reports (if enabled): Retained per third-party provider policy (typically 30-90 days)
  • ✅ Support communications: Retained for 2 years for service continuity

7. Your Rights

Under applicable privacy laws (including PIPEDA in Canada), you have the right to:
